Access & account
How long do I have access?
365 days from the date you purchase.
What happens when my access is about to expire?
We'll email you about two weeks before your access ends. Access still ends on the expiry date. The email is a heads-up, not an extension.
Can I extend my access after it expires?
Once access expires, the simplest path is purchasing the course again, which grants a fresh 365-day period. If you have a specific situation, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Payment & refunds
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can request a refund at any time through your account. UK consumers have a 14-day statutory cooling-off right; requests are reviewed individually rather than auto-approved, so submit a request and we'll get back to you with a decision.
How does the £149 introductory price work?
The course is normally £199. The first 100 buyers get 25% off using the code FIRST25OFF at checkout, bringing the price to £149. Once 100 redemptions are reached, the code stops working automatically and the price reverts to £199.
CISI exam & study materials
How do I book my CISI exam?
This course prepares you for the content of the exam, but booking and sitting it happens directly through CISI, not through us. You can book at CISI's exam shop. You'll need to register for a free CISI account first if you don't already have one. Exams can be taken remotely (via webcam invigilation) or at one of CISI's test centres worldwide.
Do I need the official CISI workbook as well as this course?
Yes. CISI requires you to purchase their official Risk in Financial Services workbook when you book your exam. This is a CISI policy, not ours, intended to ensure every candidate prepares from the same standard material. We recommend studying this course alongside the CISI workbook, not as a replacement for it: this course is designed to make the concepts genuinely click, while the workbook is what the exam itself is set against. CISI sends you the workbook automatically when you book.
Is this an official CISI exam or qualification?
No. This is independent preparation content aligned to CISI's published Risk in Financial Services syllabus.
Not produced, endorsed, or administered by CISI. The qualification itself is awarded by CISI only after you sit and pass their own exam, which you book separately at cisi.org.
Do I need any prior risk experience?
No prior risk qualification is assumed. The course builds each concept from first principles before applying it.
